Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Happy Chinese New Year Everyone!

I had fun learning about the Great Wall of China and
watching Youtube videos of beautiful China. I just have to visit there someday!!!
We listened to really great music and watched an artist paint some bamboo.
My favorite is the Chinese acrobats and the drumming!
It's really a wonderful place. “Zai Jian” (good bye)

The last weeks of Summer...

Playing with friends

Building a Rocket.

Harry Potter Camp and another Civil War Camp.

Car show with mom.

My favorite thing all summer...

The Civil War Muster reenactment and playing war in the woods!
I was so excited when mom and dad bought me a cap gun musket.

This is me being a serious solider.
I have had a great summer. Lots of swimming, bike riding and playing with friends.

Also learned a lot about the Civil War, my multiplications up to the 4 x's.

Had lots of fun with The Spiderwick Chronicles and grew a few inches.

Bring on the Fall!

The Battle in the Back Yard!

The Civil War 1861-1865

General Ulysses S Grant and General Robert E. Lee

Head of the Union Army*** Head of the Confederate Army
**********************************

My Civil War battle in the backyard.

The South wanted to make their own country and keep slavery going.

The North said; NO WAY!

The battle was long and horrible!

So many men and boys died!

The conditions were terrible for the soldiers.

Brothers sometimes fought against their own brothers.

In the end the North won!
The confederates surrendered on April 9, 1865
The slaves were free and
we continued to be one united country.
