My Day....

My day... Caleb and I went for hair cuts. I got just a trim.

If you look way back in this picture you can see the photo studio where my sister works.

Pretty cool picture I took in the mirror.

Okay it's a little tight!!!

The lady who cuts my hair is a joker! She's my sister's friend.

She keeps saying I'm going to boot camp... and I said No, Harry Potter Camp!

Then she puts this weird thing too tight around my neck!

Then my mom and dad took me and my best friend Ian
to the water park. (a different one than first one this year).

Here's me in the mushroom falls, that's Ian with the
broken arm, It's waterproof!
Ian and Me

My mom took a picture of my foot! I swim too fast for her camera.

Library finds!

These are two really awesome books I got at the library. Exploratopia is full of cool experiments and explorations for kids. Snowball Launchers, Giant Pumpkins Growers and Other Cool Contraptions by Tom Fox is a book of neat stuff to make. I think it would be so cool to make a snowball launcher with my dad. I just got these today along with Fact, fiction and Folklore in Harry Potter's World by George Beahm and a few other books. I also got a book on CD to listen to at night before bedtime called Vampirates Tides of Terror by Justin Somper. The librarian assured my mom it's not too scary and she said it was kind of funny. I can't wait to dig in!!!

The Mountain Life...

The Mountain Life

For Sharon & Zoe

by Noah & Anet

Way on a mountain top, lives a family.

They are a family of 3. They love the trees.

They learn and laugh and play all day. They never ever loose their way.

They search for frogs, turtles and snakes. They love the earth and all of the lakes.

Even the dinosaurs that used to roam and even when it begins to storm.

They have two funny geese to entertain, who swim in a pool and loves the rain.

Their life is peaceful on the mountain side.

Always a place to run and hide,

when they play hide-n- seek

over the mountain and at the peek.

The Battle in the Back Yard!

The Civil War 1861-1865

General Ulysses S Grant and General Robert E. Lee

Head of the Union Army*** Head of the Confederate Army
**********************************

My Civil War battle in the backyard.

The South wanted to make their own country and keep slavery going.

The North said; NO WAY!

The battle was long and horrible!

So many men and boys died!

The conditions were terrible for the soldiers.

Brothers sometimes fought against their own brothers.

In the end the North won!
The confederates surrendered on April 9, 1865
The slaves were free and
we continued to be one united country.

The Flag, it was hidden away!!

Where did it go?

Nobody did know!

Except Noah... and he wouldn't say!"

The Mermaid in the bay. A story by Noah.

There once was a beautiful mermaid who lived in the bay.
She was a kind and gentle mermaid that love to create.
She lived a peaceful, happy life with her family and
if you listen very carefully on a warm summer's evening
when the moon is full and the tide is just right.
You can hear... the laughter of the gentle merfamily who lives
there still.

Civil War Camp

I have spent two days at Civil War Camp. It's been so fun!
We went into the spooky basement of the mansion to see
where they hid the slaves that were on their way to Canada.
We played capture the flag, we made our own flags.
Today some re-enactors came and I was so fascinated with them.
They showed us all of their cool Civil War gear and told us
lots of interesting things. I can hardly wait for tomorrow.
Oh I made lots of new friends too!
